I have been keeping notes for these posts each week inside of my planner to ensure I stick to keeping a planner, and also so I remember the things that I have done each week to better myself, but week twenty is SPARSE and I'm unsure why? Surely I did things?
And then I remembered, I spent the bulk of my week after my workday at my old house cleaning it up for the realtor to come see it post-remodel. Nights were spent scrubbing paint out of carpet and vacuuming each room, scraping paint off of wood floors, and creating lists for the construction crew of what we still needed done. Instead of my usual routine of work, gym, home, I was skipping the gym to conserve energy to clean the house and was going from work to home to a nightly walk.
My nightly walks have been a welcome switch-up from the gym and if you're tired of the monotony of your gym routine, I suggest you try it. It had me yearning for the gym and the weight benches a bit again, so I felt a refreshed on the days I was getting back into the gym.
In terms of walking, I also hit 23k steps on Saturday because it was Pokemon Go Fest in Chicago an aside from the regular walking for the fest, we did a ton of walking around for the City Experience tasks leading up to our fest time. The weather was beautiful, I spent time with friends, and I was able to meet Pikachu. What else can a girl ask for?

I have a post coming about the Anne Frank exhibit at the Museum of Science and Industry, but I haven't read it since I was in eighth grade and Anne is so full of hope that I can't put it down. The Wedding People has been enjoyable so far; I like the audiobook narrator. I'm taking a break from book clubs this months sans Bizarre Book Club with some of the girls I work with, so I can read through my TBR.
I am still here, still blogging, still finding pockets of time to work out, still reading and writing and creating, still paying off my debt; it just looks a little bit less routine right now. <3
