After my mild crash-out last week, we're taking a few steps back to get back on track. I'm reeling in my spending habits, I'm getting back on a workout trajectory, and I'm doing more things myself.
This was a relatively uneventful week. I went for a haircut on Thursday, and we discussed how I am planning on growing my hair out. My goal for this year is to keep growing it as long as I can get it and grow out my black hair dye as much as I can to get the damage out of my hair. I want my hair to be healthy and natural so I can color it next year and not risk the damage. I also have not seen my natural hair color since maybe sixth grade, so I'm mildly excited for that.
I did my nails at home this week, too! I bought a manicure kit and I'm letting my nails grow out. I haven't been biting them, and I've replaced that habit with a fidget ring. The ones I linked are OK, but because they're also used for acupuncture they're made of metal and they bend easy. One of mine has stretched out. I'd really like to pick up this fidget bracelet, and I might if I purchase something for Father's Day from Uncommon Goods. If anyone knows where to get a good wearable fidget, please let your girl know.
AH, I saw Backroom this week and I REALLY enjoyed it. I don't know a lot of lore around the backrooms, but I thought the movie was effective and so well-executed. The horror girlies are eating this summer, I'm dying to watch it again.
I started making payments to my second largest card and I'll have it paid off by the end of June, which is huge for me. Then, I'll only have one big card left and I'll be out of CC debt. :-) I roadmapped my debt out, and I should have it all paid off by the end of September.
