This Chapter's Gonna Be a Close One ◦ Changing My Life in One Year ◦ Week Thirteen

Lucky #13!

I am starting to embrace the concept of doing one thing every day to make the next day easier. This includes packing my bag the night before, choosing an outfit, mostly routine things along those lines. It also helps hold me accountable for not putting tasks off, like my emissions test, which I did on Monday on my home from work.

I also opened a savings account this week where I can put the money I make off of my Etsy shop because I have had a surprising number of sales on there over the past two weeks. One baby step toward a better financial future.

Speaking of finances, I have one credit card I use regularly to earn travel miles, and I paid it back down this month. I think I am going to use it regularly and then pay it off every month to help my credit score. I paid just under $1500 in credit card debt off this week!

I have been regularly working out still, a habit I'm surprised has stuck this long, but this week I did something a little bit different and took a walk to my local library. It always felt further than it actually it and it's only about a mile away. I returned some books, checked out the new book club book, and enjoyed the nice weather whilst finding new shops along the way.

I was under my weekly calorie goal by 5,884 calories due to working out and watching what I eat. I'm a little bit nervous to weigh in over the next few weeks, but it should be okay!
