So Much Socializing ◦ Changing My Life in One Year ◦ Week Ten

I always feel old after recapping how much time as passed, but I can't believe we're in the last week of March already!

This was a fruitful social week and that's where most of this week lies in terms of growth because, it feels like lately my social battery has been so low. I'm realizing how greatly social activities fill my own bucket and I needed them this week.

On Tuesday, I volunteered through work at a food bank called Loaves and Fishes. My job offers a lot of volunteer opportunities and I get the time off for it. We spent the morning organizing onions and grapefruits into bags for people to pick up. I met people that I work with that I otherwise wouldn't know because we work in different departments. It was really nice. There's another offer to volunteer that I'm really looking forward to!

I don't have any photos, but our HR team did take some. When they become available, I'll update y'all!

Later that afternoon, I had my first work birthday for a woman in my quad. I picked up some mini donuts for her and a plant. Q's been really kind to me since I started. When we had a work event, she's been with me so I'm not alone. I don't know if anything happened in the morning where more people brought food or snacks in because I was volunteering, but she was very grateful for the treats everyone did bring and it was nice. :)

Thursday was one of my close friend's Molly's birthday! About seven of us went for pizza and drinks and then we watched Project Hail Mary. It was cool to meet Molly's other friends and spend an evening engaged in conversation powered by feminine energy and then watch one of my favorite movies of the year a second time in theaters.

Saturday, we spent the day with our friends who are married where we went to their house, ate, and watched Send Help. They're both such comfortable people to be around and I always look forward to seeing them. We always have a good time, we're on the same wavelength, we laugh a lot, it's so refreshing.
